The process

Tell us about what you need.
Book a free fifteen-minute call with one of the founders. We want to understand your child properly: where they are now, what they need to achieve, and what kind of person they are. It costs nothing, and it means that by the time we suggest a tutor, we know exactly what to look for.
Step 02
Let us advise on the right approach.
We think through what your child actually needs and match them with the right person from our network, people we know and have worked with directly. We share the tutor's background with you and you approve before anything is booked.
Step 03
Receive ongoing, collaborative support.
We stay involved throughout the whole process. Sessions run online at times that suit your family, and we accommodate UK and international timezones. Most students start with weekly sessions and the frequency adjusts to what is needed, especially around exam periods. If something is not working, we adapt.
FAQ
Common questions.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions run for sixty or ninety minutes, depending on the student's age and the subject. We recommend sixty minutes for younger students and ninety for A-level and university-level work.
What if my child does not get on with their tutor?
It happens rarely, and when it does, we handle it immediately. We will find an alternative tutor at no extra cost.
Are your tutors DBS checked?
Yes. All tutors working with students under eighteen hold a current DBS certificate, or equivalent police clearance for tutors based outside the UK.
What platform do you use for sessions?
Sessions run on Zoom or Google Meet, whichever the family prefers. Both are already familiar to most students and require no additional setup.
Can I pay in a currency other than GBP?
Yes. International families can pay in their local currency. We will confirm the equivalent rate at the time of booking.
How quickly can we get started?
In most cases we can match a student and confirm a first session within 48 to 72 hours of the initial call.
